After nearly 4 years of travelling across South Wales and beyond playing at pubs, clubs, parties, weddings and anything else we could get involved in, The Cover Notes are calling it a day.

After playing drums in a band for 16 years, Aidan has decided to take a break from performing at the end of this year. That means you won't miss out on any Cover Notes action between now and the end of the year, but 2025 will be his last hurrah.

​

The three of us have been in a band together in some shape or form for years and years, and we remain the best of friends! (Even Matthew). This isn't an Oasis level ending for any of us, but we will consider a comeback in 10 years time ...

The three of us built The Cover Notes just as Lockdown hit back in 2020 and since then we've gone from strength to strength. We've made some great friends, helped you celebrate, or just given you a soundtrack to your weekend, all while mixing it up as much as we can (if you know, you know!)

​

We'd like to say a huge thank you to all the happy couples, venues and patrons of the past and present for supporting the band and giving us a great 4 years of live music appreciation!

Stay tuned, we'll be looking to make this a year to remember. An absolutely massive thank you again from the three of us!
